Hi, I'm Dr. Pabashi Poddar, a Consultant in Gynaecological Oncology at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, UK.

I have extensive experience treating complex gynaecological cancers, previously working as a Consultant and Associate Professor at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai one of India's leading cancer centers. I specialise in surgeries like radical hysterectomy, laparoscopic procedures, HIPEC, cytoreductive surgeries for ovarian cancer, and diagnostic procedures such as colposcopy and hysteroscopy.

I hold qualifications including MRCOG from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK, an M.Ch. in Gynaecological Oncology, a Fellowship in Gynaecological Oncology, an MS and DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and an MBBS.

My research aims to improve understanding and management of gynaecological cancers, exploring important issues such as the financial burden of treatments, chemotherapy-related menstrual changes, and new treatments for advanced ovarian cancer.

I'm also passionate about teaching and mentoring medical professionals, with extensive experience training residents and fellows, participating in multidisciplinary team discussions, and leading clinical teams.
